This is the inaugural post for The Sparrows of Happiness - a solo music project by C. Heider, who is also a member of the Linus Pauling Quartet.
Playing in the LP4 has given me a lot of satisfaction over the years, and continues to do so. But there's a lot of material I've accumulated that isn't really ideal for LP4. I don't rule out that some of this stuff could work its way into the LP4 repertoire, assuming the other guys would have it - but it was all stuff that I wanted to record and do myself first, for whatever reason.
This blog is moderated. If you want to rant & rave, get your own blog. I am interested in feedback, both positive and negative, but for obvious reasons hateful or stupid comments simply won't be posted. Instead, they will be sent to /dev/null.
I got off my butt and finally got the website back online. Nothing new to report, though I have conceived of (but not written) a new song. I believe it will be called "The Platypus". We'll see, though.
