The Sparrows of Happiness welcome you...

This is the inaugural post for The Sparrows of Happiness - a solo music project by C. Heider, who is also a member of the Linus Pauling Quartet. Playing in the LP4 has given me a lot of satisfaction over the years, and continues to do so. But there's a lot of material I've accumulated that isn't really ideal for LP4. I don't rule out that some of this stuff could work its way into the LP4 repertoire, assuming the other guys would have it - but it was all stuff that I wanted to record and do myself first, for whatever reason.

This blog is moderated. If you want to rant & rave, get your own blog. I am interested in feedback, both positive and negative, but for obvious reasons hateful or stupid comments simply won't be posted. Instead, they will be sent to /dev/null.

First round of MP3s available

So I finally broke down and put current mixes of 5 songs out on the website. You can download them here. These are not final mixes and I will probably go back and tweak a couple of things, but they are close enough to how I want them to start sharing them with people.
